Community Support
Organizations We Support
Beyond the scholarship, the foundation funds organizations that reflect the causes Heather cared about most — poetry, the arts, animals, and the communities around her.
National Youth Summit — Poetry Month Award
Riviera Beach, Florida
Each year during Poetry Month, the National Youth Summit presents an award to a teacher who volunteers their time working with kids on poetry. The foundation is proud to fund this award in honor of Heather's lifelong dedication to the craft.
The Levitate Foundation
Marshfield, Massachusetts
The Levitate Foundation supports local kids' programs, the arts, and local artists in their community. The Heather Rose Foundation has proudly contributed to their work for the past two years, supporting a mission that closely mirrors Heather's own passions.
The Animal Farm Foundation
Amenia, New York
The Animal Farm Foundation is dedicated to securing equal treatment and opportunity for pit bull dogs and the people who care for them. Their work includes training pit bulls as service dogs — giving both the dogs and the people they serve a second chance. This cause speaks directly to Heather's deep love of animals.
Help Us Do More
Every donation helps us award another scholarship, fund another teacher, and support another community — all in Heather's memory.
